The Urgency of the Cause
Dementia is a growing global health crisis, with over 55 million people currently living with the condition and nearly 10 million new cases diagnosed annually. Without a cure, it is estimated that one in three individuals born today will face dementia in their lifetime.
Race Against Dementia is dedicated to changing these statistics by supporting innovative research aimed at preventing or curing this devastating condition. Through their Early Career Researchers program, the charity provides resources, mentorship, and partnerships, including leveraging Sir Jackie Stewart’s connections within Formula 1 and the tech industry to drive groundbreaking progress.
