Italian Ambassador to Japan Supporting St. Franciscans Association in Tokyo
Charity activities by the Italian Ambassador to Japan
At the end of 2021, H.E. Mr. Gianluigi Benedetti, the Italian ambassador to Japan, who arrived in October, visited the St. Franciscans Association in Ota Ward, Tokyo with his spouse and Mr. Plavio Gori, President of “Misericordia di Osaka”. The “St. Franciscans Association” has several facilities such as the St. Francisco Children’s Dormitory, where children over the age of 4 live together.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, it is undeniable that these young members of our society have been experiencing great distress and are in need of support. Thanks to Ambassador Gianluigi Benedetti and the Italian embassy greater awareness has been raised for St. Franciscans Association and its children.
