MrBeast Japan Channel Coming Soon
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is coming to Japan. During a March 7 episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast, MrBeast dropped a major teaser for his launch in Japan, saying that he will be launching soon and that his voice will be dubbed by a “giant” Japanese anime voice actor.
YouTube Giant
MrBeast is an American YouTuber, with over 94 million subscribers. In January 2022, Forbes ranked MrBeast as YouTube’s highest-earning creator, earning an estimated $54 million in 2021. Forbes also stated that his income in 2021 would have placed him 40th in the 2020 Forbes Celebrity 100 rankings.
He is popular for his crazy projects such as”$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life”, “I Survived 50 Hours In A Maximum Security Prison” and “I Spend 50 Hours Buried Alive”, but he also engages in philanthropic activities such as planting trees and providing free food. The secret behind MrBeast’s popularity is that he is willing to spend money and strives to make others happy.
Learning from Squid Games
As part of an elaborate growth strategy, MrBeast early on realized that continued growth is beyond his native English language channel.
Over the last two years, he has been launching one country channel after another, with a new Hindi channel as the latest edition to his growing country portfolio.
This strategy seems to be working for MrBeast as he has gained millions of new followers and views around the world oftentimes featuring local celebrity voice actors like Spider-Man’s Luis Daniel Ramírez for his Spanish channel.
Can MrBeast gain the hearts of Japan?
Like many other countries, Japanese prefer local Youtubers in their own native language. Often times they don’t even know who MrBeast actually is despite his huge following and internet fame.
Rest assured, if MrBeast launches in Japan with his voice dubbed by a local celebrity voice actor, he will gain popularity among the millions of Japanese who watch YouTube on a daily basis.
So keep an eye on his crazy but exciting videos with a unique Japanese voice.
