Contemporary art is fun!”Tokyo Gendai” to be held in July 2023

Many people say that contemporary art is difficult, or hard to understand, but it’s really fun when you actually see it. An international art fair “Tokyo Gendai” will be held this summer, where you can enjoy contemporary art to your heart’s content.

“Tokyo Gendai” is by “The Art Assembly”, which holds art fairs in the Asia-Pacific region. The fair would be the 6th large-scale art fair following “India Art Fair” (India), “TAIPEI DANGDAI” (Taiwan), “Sydney Contemporary” (Australia), “PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai” (China),  and “ART SG” (Singapore).

These art fairs have captivated art professionals and collectors alike, all who have a sharp eye for cutting-edge art. As well as being a place for commercial exchange, it is also a place for creative and cultural exchange for artists.

An initiative in holding “Tokyo Gendai” is to display works by artists with relatively short careers as well as works by world-famous artists, in an effort to support artists and develop their talents.

The structure is divided into four sections, each with a theme.

Once you go to this fair, the idea that “contemporary art is difficult and difficult to understand” will change to a positive one: “contemporary art is fun.”

I can’t wait to see “Tokyo Gendai,” which creates a new art scene.
