The Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society Inc. “ALFS” Host the 45th “Asia-Pacific Festival & Charity Bazaar”
The Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society Inc. “ALFS” was founded by Mrs. Mutsuko Miki in 1968 with the idea that it is important for Japan to work hand in hand with the people of Asian countries to achieve peace and prosperity.
Since then, ALFS has worked together with the embassies of member countries in Asia and Oceania to promote mutual understanding and goodwill among member countries through various events such as cultural exchanges.
As part of this, ALFS supports the improvement of welfare and education for children and women in the Asia-Oceania region, including charitable activities such as delivering financial support when natural disasters occur in member countries.
Among them, the “Asia-Pacific Festival & Charity Bazaar” is held every year thanks to the gracious support and consideration of many people. The “Asia-Pacific Festival & Charity Bazaar” was unfortunately canceled for recent years due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this year the charity bazaar will be once again held in-person.
This year’s embassy representative is Mrs. Nuning Wahyuniati Akhmadi, the Indonesian Ambassador’s spouse and the deputy representative is Mrs. Momoe Fritz, the Micronesian Ambassador’s spouse.”
The charity bazaar features many booths such as various embassies, support groups, NPOs, and shopping stalls, including a Japan booth run by Kochi Prefecture. The charity ball is both international and incredibly fun, with many people gathering every year to enjoy shopping while socializing.

*Due to restrictions on the number of people allowed in the venue due to the Fire Service Act, it will be a two-part system.
Since there is a limit to the number of admission tickets sold, if ALFS is unable to meet your request, we will accept the purchase of raffle tickets and donations from those who support with the purpose of the event.
