Chilean Buffet Dinner Hosted by the Ambassador of Chile

On the 20th of June, the Embassy of the Republic of Chile hosted a splendid Chilean buffet dinner at the residence of the Chilean Ambassador to Japan, Ricardo G. Rojas. The evening was designed as a cultural exchange experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the rich culinary traditions of Chile while fostering international camaraderie.

As guests arrived, they were warmly welcomed with a selection of Chilean beverages, setting the tone for the evening. Among the drinks offered were the iconic Chilean Pisco Sour, known for its refreshing blend of pisco, lime juice, and sugar syrup, and sparkling wine sourced from the renowned vineyards of Central Valley, Chile. These drinks provided a delightful introduction to the flavors of Chile.

The buffet showcased a diverse array of dishes, each highlighting the freshness and quality of Chilean ingredients. The culinary journey began with Ceviche made from Chilean salmon, a dish that perfectly balanced the tangy zest of citrus with the rich, buttery texture of the salmon. Guests indulged in Panna Cotta, a creamy Italian dessert that had been given a Chilean twist.
