Intercontinental Tokyo Bay & Moët & Chandon

Moet Chandon at Interncontinental Hotel Tokyo Bay

Recently, we visited the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay to enjoy some amazing food, an outstanding view of Tokyo bay by night, and of course premium champagne.

The Intercontinental Tokyo Bay and Moët & Chandon presented a special collaboration last month – to combine a luxury atmosphere with premium champagne.

The hotel offers two locations to enjoy the bubbly wine. You can either stay on the first floor near the lobby at the New York Lounge or at the restaurant a few floors up. The lounge offers comfortable sofas in an upscale living room-type atmosphere.

The restaurant upstairs, however, offers an elegant atmosphere of an upscale restaurant. Add to this, the amazing view from your dinner table on Tokyo bay.

We decided to go upstairs and enjoy a full dinner course-meal. We were offered some of the best Champagnes from Moët & Chandon including various bottles of Dom Pérignon.

You should note, you can select a single glass or the whole bottle. Select a flute of champagne gives you the opportunity to try out a wider range of different champagne. However, the bottles at the top of the price range can set you back more than a thousand dollars. Also, you have to buy the whole bottle – no chance to cheap out this time.

However, the top of the list bottles can only be bought as a bottle.

Our champagne was paired with some first-class dishes from Intercontinental’s own original menu. We chose a light salad as a starter and the premium steak as the entrée. Delicious!

The whole atmosphere was very elegant – ideal for couples to enjoy some romantic moments together. What contributed to the whole experience was the excellent Japanese service and the amazing view of Tokyo bay by night.

We might not have been on a very high floor (9th), but the panorama view from the restaurant right on the Rainbow Bridge can’t be beaten easily. And at the end of our meal, we decided to venture out on the terrace to take some photos.

In winter, it certainly is not the best time to enjoy the view outside, but for the rest of the year, you will be able to enjoy the view to its fullest. And, of course, always accompanied by a glass of your favorite champagne.
